Religion-  A very vast concept which gives everyone a belief to do work accordingly.
There are thousands types of viewpoint on religion but most of them were superstitious.
There are many types of religions some have been short-lived,while others have persisted and grown. There are 7 most prominent religions.
1.Hinduism 
2.Buddhism 
3.Islam
4.Confucianism 
5.Christianity
6.Taoism
7.Judaism

Every religion has their own arrangement and their different belief system.Nothing is perfect but we are following it because we believe in a power ,we believe in a religious rules ,customs etc.
But in following these rituals and rules we forget that we are humans first and idea of humans are humanism which is somewhere fade away from the society. 
The idea of every religion is to unite everyone and follow the path of dharama(right way of living).So,when i introspect that what do we get from religion then the only thing found is how to live the life in a proper manner. I never found that it spreads hatred among humans of other religion and those who propagate  messages that the religion is in danger and we have to protect it is like such a moron and doing this for own needs and greed. Religion protects everyone that what to do and what not to but how do we protect religion? Every religion is based on different principles and have traditions,customs rituals and these customs give us a way(direction)of life.
If we take something from every religion like Hinduism- the karma and dharma theory,
From Buddhism- the middle path,from Confucianism - moral practices ,from Taoism - the way of modern in harmony ,from Judaism-moral behaviour and action,from Islam-helping those who is needy and from Christianity-the 10 commandments doctrine. 
Then there will be no hate,sinful actions, discrimination and no criterion left where we compare religion and humanism.
Belief is what we follow with our full awakeness,with rationality and superstition is that we follow blindly and do everything that is irrational,immoral.
So,please use your mind when anyone give you wrong information about any religion.Develop your rational thinking and viewpoint on religion to where we relate what to do and what not to ....Our India is again is  on the verse of communal war that is same condition  as before independence . We don't want one more partition one more bloodshed we want peace, development of India,development of ourselves.
At last ,I request you all that please follow 
humanism before religion.
